Indigenous
Gentlemen,
Brotherhood with
Purpose
Iota Gamma, Inc. is a Native American and Indigenous-based fraternity founded in 2004 at the University of Oklahoma.
Through Brotherhood, culture, education, leadership, and service, we support Indigenous men as they pursue higher education, strengthen their communities, and prepare to lead.
Together, We Set the Standard

Our Purpose
Iota Gamma was founded with a clear purpose: to strengthen the academic success, cultural awareness, leadership, personal development, and Brotherhood of Native American and Indigenous men.
We believe Indigenous men should have a community that challenges them to grow, supports them through the demands of higher education, and encourages them to remain connected to the people and communities they represent.
Our Brotherhood is built on support, accountability, service, and the responsibility to help one another succeed.

Our Four Pillars
The Foundation of Iota Gamma
The Four Pillars guide the development of every Iota Gamma Brother. Together, they challenge us to grow as students, Indigenous men, Brothers, and leaders.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
We challenge Brothers to take ownership of their education, support one another academically, and persist through graduation and beyond.
CULTURAL AWARENESS
We encourage Brothers to strengthen their understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, communities, and the responsibilities we carry to those who come after us.
SPIRITUAL
WELL-BEING
We recognize the importance of reflection, purpose, balance, and respect for the individual spiritual paths of our Brothers.
PHYSICAL
FITNESS
We promote discipline, healthy habits, and lifelong attention to physical well-being as part of becoming a stronger and more balanced man.

Brotherhood with purpose
More Than Letters
College can be difficult to navigate alone. Iota Gamma creates a Brotherhood where Indigenous men can find support, accountability, cultural connection, and a community committed to seeing one another succeed.
Being a Brother means more than wearing letters. It means showing up for one another, serving our communities, honoring where we come from, and helping create opportunities for those who follow.
Brotherhood Does Not End At Graduation
